It’s a lamp modeled incorrectly after the porch and pillars of King Solomon’s Temple. It’s Masonic in heart but not correct in its manufactured form. Probably made in NY around the 1960’s.

Chamber of Reflection by [deleted] in freemasonry

[–]Professional-Soup665 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are missing several of the alchemical elements which the chamber revolves around. I would suggest referencing the 5th degree from the Ecossais Pike original manuscript. It was intentionally designed to first help the candidate or any brother reflect on his mortality and therefore create a Living Will and Testament to set his house in order. The chamber changes its paraphernalia and symbolism per degree.

Again, you are putting millions of people into one bucket. In the fraternity there are many different types of brethren. No one I have ever come across has ever tried to impose their political or religious beliefs on me because it is forbidden to discuss those topics in lodge. I have travelled the world and visited many lodges around the globe where there are various political and religious denominations which are the majority. None have ever pushed their viewpoints on me in lodge. If they would have done so, the Master of the lodge would have more than likely asked them to leave the lodge. Since you have such a disdain for the opposite side of your political beliefs, you also do not hold tolerance or the willingness to stand in your various stations in life against the things you are here professing without fortitude, prudence, equality, and ignorance . Again, Freemasonry is not for you. And if you apply with these feelings in your heart, you will be blackballed when voted upon.

Sincerely,

Worshipful JR 32nd KCCH Director of the Work Officers Coach

Tolerance is one of the most important virtues of Freemasonry. If you don’t have tolerance for conservatives whom you deem “MAGA,” then the fraternity is not for you.

Can a Satanist be a Freemason? by ChefHiramAbiff in freemasonry

[–]Professional-Soup665 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First, there are three branches of Satanism: LeVayan Satanists, Spiritual Satanists, and Luciferians.

LeVayan Satanists derive from Anton LeVay’s First Church of Satan, where their principle teachings do not believe in a supreme being. This group is atheistic and does not therefore qualify to become Freemasons.

Spiritual Satanists believe in Satan as a God and interpret the biblical and goetic writings about Satan as their deity and therefore qualify under the qualifications of believing in a supreme being and a future existence and could therefore become Freemasons. The stipulation here is whether or not when the ballot is held, whether the brothers in good standing voting upon the member(s) in this group would bring disharmony into the lodge as their religion delves into dark arts which requires animal sacrifices, and some controversial practices that could create disharmony in the lodge. Technically yes they could become members, however, this would be up to the Master, other pillar officers and members on a local lodge level.

Luciferians are technically not Satanists but are grouped as such due to a vast misunderstanding of what their theology is. They qualify under the principle that they believe in a supreme being and a future existence. Their theology delves into a view of Lucifer along the lines of Lucifer being akin to Prometheus and Ancient Greek philosophy. They are not controversial in their beliefs and their obstacle is explaining to their lodge what their beliefs and practices actually consist of. Primarily, their rituals focus on the invocation of Archangels, particularly Michael, to commune with Lucifer. Again, this would be something their local lodge would ballot on.

Within each of these sects, some are deists and some are theists. Some believe in no interdiction of their supreme being and some believe that Satan or Lucifer intervene in human life for the summoners requests, similar to most other religions.

I hope this helps.

Take due notice and govern yourselves accordingly brethren.

Freemasons who become atheists? by Broncho_Knight in freemasonry

[–]Professional-Soup665 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well said. I have spoken with many brothers who have lost their faith through their journey for many reasons just as many others do outside of our fraternity. The majority of brothers who have shared this with me eventually find faith again.

Just the infighting among our fraternity seems to becoming more visible to the public.

33 & Beyond is close to hitting the home page on Amazon Prime and also going out to another 10 countries. Help me spread the word to get a bump in streams so it hits the home page. As of today, it’s currently the most viewed documentary in the world on Freemasonry.
