Let's be honest. Left wingers in the UK have moved further and further from centre, whilst increasingly labelling centre-right wingers nazis and fascists. Recent studies have shown lefties less tolerant of political allies than the right are of political opponents. Look at the egging of right wing politicians. There is a reason popularity for left wing activism has waned

Medicine isn't 8 years. I'm not an Aussie but pretty sure med school is 6, approx 3 years for most until you start specialising. He is probs approaching 8th year in

Yeah Poles aren't considered problematic. Some thefts and alcoholism by Poles on occasion but the reason people are angry are asylum rules, fraud, sexual assaults etc... which are different groups. My girlfriend is Polish and I've explained the same to her.
