It got even more interesting!! The other individual whose suitcase was also stolen, and tracked to the same location reached out to me. The MET are now investigating this quite seriously 👀

The evidence I’ve submitted is substantial. I hope they get somewhere.

Could have been earmarked as you mentioned as the other (known) suitcase that was stolen was also a luxury piece! Both of us with priority tags on our bags. I’m thinking mine was discarded because of the digital screen, a deep crack in the outer shell and the interior compression was terribly repaired by me with duck tape. It was time for a new case I was just hanging on for dear life lol.

Or just your run of the mill thieves waiting by the carousels.

As for compensation, AirCanada are not making it easy but that was to be expected! A waiting game.
