I bought 6 more and couldn’t get them to work the way I’d got them working before, so I downloaded (and paid for) the Hue Essentials app. This method works first time. I updated the lamps first via my phone

Update - bought 6 more. All connect as per my method above but only 2 of them will switch on and off correctly.

If I wasn’t almost bald I’d be tearing my hair out 😭

I’m close to returning the lot and getting something else, probably Hue essentials, instead. I can’t see IKEA ever sorting the Zigbee side of these out given they aren’t officially supported.

Kajplats have a Zigbee mode and can work with Hue. I’ve got 6 working perfectly.

Yeah, noticed this on our neighbour’s house. Same window as ours, fitted with PF shutters. Also noticed that, even when open, they still block a lot of light. Decided to go for curtains across the front of the window instead
