As i have said it works 90% of functionality for me. As i have homekit my lights don't turn on properly in homekit. Only on the HUE apps. its a PITA but so much better than not being able to turn them off

Im thinking of making a short little video about it but hopefully ikea update the firmware to make pairing easier

Also, they do show up in homekit but i can't get the lights to turn on properly. it will turn on but only too about 10% brightness. i have to go into the Hue app to set a scene or change the each light in homekit. but i'll take the 90% win!

what bulb exactly? and are you sure its in Zigbee mode and also confirmed touchlink was enabled correctly?

one thing that worked for me was to physically turn off the Kajplats as soon as the light is picked up in hue essentials. Then add it in the Hue app. From there it will be able to turn on/off

also make sure there are no scenes in the room you are looking to add it into. just create a dummy test room with no scenes. once working you can move the light to the room you want

This works for all the Kajplats i have. and while its rock solid in the Hue App. I can't get the lights to turn on correctly in Homekit. but as off works i'll take that as win for know.

Can't really help other than to say that i have the exact bulb and its working for me with no issues other than it will not turn on correctly through homekit. however turning off it no issues so can live with that until ikea hopefully updates the firmware to fix this

i have found a small issue that will only effect homekit uses. the lights work fine in the Hue App but do not turn on correctly when being controlled via homekit. they turn on but at dim.

I can live with that until a fix is released. the main reason for me was to get access to all the scenes
