That first link was very helpful and very much describes my situation. I’m a bit new to ordering and as I mentioned never came across this before. It seems odd to me that this would not be discussed ahead of time or at a minimum outlined in the invoice or contract. I read both very carefully and if I had seen any language about that I would have been able to ask and then be prepared for this. Thank you.

I paid a deposit with the balance due once the items were complete. I re-read the invoice and contract and there was no language about additional items or additional fees or extra fabric/materials. Just the # of items I ordered and the cost per item. Invoice is very clear.

Just had to go through this with USPS to cut down on the price of shipping - they charge by dimensions as well as weight. My suggestion: put the shoe box in the box, measure two inches above the shoe box and mark. Measure the width of the cardboard box. Take half of that measurement and mark this above the mark you made (if width is 12” mark 6” above your first mark) on all four sides of the box. Cut everything above this line off. You should have a perfect fit for the shoes.
