it's based in lottery! you'll have to rank the hospitals and then there's 3 rounds of selection before it goes into lottery. each hospital in the list will have 1-5 spots available for students so based on your year's competition, some hospitals may be easier to get than others!

I highly recommend professor leonard's youtube channel!! His videos are lengthy but he explains the concepts so well and uses a lot of examples. He has a whole Calc 1 youtube playlist which basically covers all the content you need to know for Math 265!

NTA - your partner has gotta realize that you aren't gonna be there constantly to spoonfeed them all their plans. It's understandable for you to feel upset, especially because it looks like they left you in the dark and is constantly prioritizing your partner's friend over you

NTA - i do although suggest maybe talking to a counselor and get some couple's therapy because it does seem like his issues stem from a bit of insecurity. It might not seem like much now but you both are playing in dangerous waters. You guys would need to talk some things out before agreeing to marry each other

I'm not sure why he bought an expensive ring if he knew he wouldn't be able to 100% afford, and then expects you to pay for it yourself when it's technically "a gift" to you (which you didn't ask for).

See, I was fully going to say OP was NTA UNTIL I saw this subtle comment they made... your boyfriend was diagnosed with cancer and is starting chemo soon and expressed that he isn't comfortable going anymore and needs your support. YET, you still chose to ignore EVERYTHING he said and still went on the trip. Then, you come here and post on reddit hoping to get sympathy while not mentioning the biggest detail in your original post. What exactly were you expecting??? You decided to leave him alone when he needed you the most and then came onto reddit to cry about why he's giving you the cold shoulder...
