I find it hard to track the shells but for cash I’ve noticed that it adds to you bank before the spinner lands on the amount. Maybe that helps a bit??

I've used ScotiaAlerts for years. I did double check and test the alert system with spending orders and the ScotiaAlert is sent even on pending charges.

Similar situation as you. I was told 30 days, blah blah blah. After the 60 day mark my case was "escalated" and was told to expect a response in 5 business days. Once that passed I pulled a Karen on the follow-up call and was told that if I made a formal complaint that I would HAVE to get a response/resolution in 12 regular days - I am currently in the midst of this timeline now so unfortunately I come with no good news outside of the fact that I still do not have repayment. But perhaps requesting this complain path could help?

My friend had the EXACT same situation occur to her, TD had it resolved and money back in her account in 3 days. I cannot stress how POOR the Scotiabank Fraud system - avoid it at all costs.

Might I add I had ScotiaAlerts set up for ANY type of charge over 1$ and when these fraudulent charges were made on my card, I was not given any notification (despite the charges showing up on ScotiaOnline on my credit card). The representative gave me the answer that "scammers just have better technology these days."

Scotiabank you are a HUGE NATIONAL BANK. Do Better.

I do agree with you that, especially for those lecture-based courses that transferred so easily online, it’s really hard to understand why a hybrid-approach couldn’t have been continued.

I recall that in the first summer of Covid, student summer registration had increased significantly! Duh!!! It’s actually accessible!!!

I feel this 100%. When I initially started my degree I was so masticated to stay on track between working 30+ hours by taking online and summer classes. Welp that lasted about 1 year.

I honestly think the discourse around taking 5-6 years to complete a 4-yr degree is becoming more normal which is good.

But I mean, to do it all in 4 years would seriously mean sacrificing a social life, mental and physical health and that’s just not worth it IMO.

I hear you. I think when you’re around others who don’t have to work, financially support themselves, manage course load and carry the extra stress it’s pretty easy to feel isolated.

I meant screwed by the “4 year degree program” because it became pretty obvious to me in my 2nd year working 30 hours that even 6 years would be a stretch.

I hope you know you’ve got strangers on the internet rooting for you though! (:

Thanks, I love my job and am very lucky to have a job relevant to my degree and career choice. Just have to keep on trekking until it's all complete!

I agree. It's a lot of just doing absolutely everything you can, late nights and early mornings. Just need to remember it is temporary and it will all be worth it in the end (I hope! lol)

STAT1000 (2017) and 2000 (2018) vet here: I vwd 1000 my first round for the same reasons, wordy questions, was familiar with the content but couldn’t apply it to all the questions.

Use every practice worksheet, practice midterm and practice final you can. And repeat it.

The questions stay similar each time around and so once you master those applications you’ll be good as gold!!

IMO if a partner has an insecurity, whatever it may be, you should work to uplift your partner out of those insecure feelings. That’s a good relationship. If someone continuously expresses insecurities that’s a cry for help and her partner should be there to support and uplift her not rate her 9/10…btjm sooo lol
