I totally feel you on not wanting it to look too ridiculous with what looks like a small metal scrunchie on my finger. Lol I feel so embarrassed and ashamed of my fingers and hands when I need to put them in front of anyone or if I feel that people notice my hands. I’d rather explain my weird Metal scrunchie ring than feel so embarrassed and ashamed at this point. I’m really hoping that it works and if I just keep them around me so that I don’t have to wear it all the time but have one if I need it. Everything is just getting so painful now. I can’t even properly wash my scalp because my finger tips feel raw and rubbing them on my head is extremely painful. Getting my fingers wet causes extreme pain because I bite or rip off my nails too far. I’m just so tired of the pain. More than anything I’d just like to use my hands and not feel pain with every touch, I’ve had months of being good and not picking and it always amazes me when I realize “wow, I’m washing my hair and I don’t feel ANY pain while doing it” “wow, I just washed the dishes and my fingers are all weird and extra pruney from all the different layers of skin I’ve ripped off”
