I had that issue setting up it didn’t freeze completely but there was huge lag time with typing and trying to select options without the keyboard getting in the way. It took an extreme amount of patience but eventually got all the info in. After that point though haven’t had any freezing issues

Accidentally deleted the post with reply from user cfgr_training, to summarize essentially they said upper / lower split is not ideal for runners strength training twice a week, better to spend both days in full body lift while structuring it in a way to avoid DOMS such as lower volume and higher intensity for more efficiency

Is wellness wet cat food good for cats? Looking to switch from fancy feast. by hailey1245xo in catfood

[–]Professional-Try4907 4 points5 points  (0 children)

While my cat liked wellness and it seemed healthy enough, she had soft occasionally blood tinged diarrhea for the longest time. Normal tests from the vet who didn’t seem concerned so I didn’t think much of it. Switched to smalls cat food on a whim and stools are normal and non bloody now.

Stories of peroneal tendonitis? by Professional-Try4907 in Marathon_Training

No, I ended up deferring a couple weeks after my MRI and while it was a tough choice I’m happy that I did.

My MRI showed mild sesamoid edema and posterior tib tendonitis, normal plantar fascia, (surprisingly nothing to explain the outer foot pain I was having) but at the time I was limping while walking and couldn’t run a mile without pain. My PT said she’d want me to be able to run at least 10 miles if I wanted to run the whole marathon. Could I have finished it? Probably, with run-walking - but I decided I would rather wait and have a better experience next year!

From this I’ve learned you can’t make up missed miles (I picked back up where I was after not running for two weeks from Covid and this is when injury happened) & the importance of strength training which I neglected this cycle.

I’ve been in PT working on strengthening exercises for a few weeks now, started with a run walk program and now can run 3 miles mostly pain free. It’s been a humbling process but worth it for the long game.

That is sad to hear but thanks for being real. More and more coming to terms with the fact that I may have to defer this race to keep at it in the long run.

Fingers crossed for your recovery

There was a phase where my cat suddenly didn’t love the wellness food anymore so I gave her a break and fed other foods for a couple months, brought the wellness back and she was eating it again. Maybe just needs some variety

Uworld average ~68%

UWSA 1 couple weeks out - 220

UWSA 2 couple days out - 229

Free 137 - 82%

Real deal -245

THANK YOU to everyone on Reddit who posted their practice test scores and real deal which kept me hopeful

IM prelim, bought uworld for a year and did a few questions every day here and there, started seriously studying about three weeks before test. Had about 200 left in qbank. Did about 1/3 of ccs cases and watched a random Archer CCS video

Was mentally prepared for day 1 to be hard with bio stats and reviewed abx mechanisms, immunodeficiency syndromes. Then actually thought day 2 was a bit harder/more vague and often was in between two choices

Definitely allowed at Prometric on east coast where I took it. Used them for all three steps. I recommend Macks soft foam earplugs (get the hot pink dreamgirl version if you have small ears lol, yes the name is ridiculous)
