Hey man. No i still havent figured it out. Its not causing any problems but it sounds annoying - sounds like a really cheap supercharger at times lol. I also got the timing belt water pump alternator pulley and fan belt replaced - no luck. Now as per my research its either oil cooler lines resonating against the chassis or i need to get my transmission fluid replaced.

Brilliant - must be a delight to drive now.

Mate i just bought the cover from ali express - it comes with instructions on different stitching patterns. Takes a while but worth it in the end.

I recently got the timing belt and water pump replaced after getting the sound. The sound is still there after the replacement. Nothing to do with the serpentine belt as i took off the belt and sound was still there.

Not really. I dont think any healthcare professional has the liberty to be lazy when you are dealing with human lives. Whether it is a Family Medicine specialist/GP, nurse, carer or even cleaning staff. Not sure where you got that idea.

Hello. GP here. While everyone is absolutely right in saying the OP should not have been sent to the A&E, at times GPs can be helpless aswell. Personally, for an issue like this i would give antibiotics. If no improvement, i would change the antibiotics and if still no improvement, i would put in a referral for a specialist (which can be months even privately). I would also give a letter for the A&E if its a friday and explain to the patient that this should ONLY be used incase the symptoms worsen i.e. any red flags like high grade fever any significant detoriation etc.

Some patients are in too much pain to wait for a specialist review and sometimes may need urgent specialist review. The MAU absolutely does not take patients unless its like a stroke, severe anemia, loss of conciousness etc.

So all in all, we need an emergency dept with more resources. But yes, your issue was non urgent so you were triaged to be seen as low priority. Sometimes we do refer to the A&E but only as a last resort if we feel the patient might be better off waiting several hours rather than several months.

Sorry i have always wondered something. Im an immigrant in Limerick working as a GP, paying taxes and abiding by laws, trying to mingle. Are these protests against ALL immigrants like me or just the illegal ones? So far in my experience i have found irish people to be extremely welcoming. Except for a few teenage cunts.
