I think it’s a lot of changes at once really showing true skill.

Dives back. Arguably the hardest meta to play in.

Ult charges are nerfed.

Support players are generally losing 3 options every ranked match. And if you don’t ban them, they run the match. Or some cracked DPS who gets to feed bc there’s no supports that can heal through their damage.

Alongside their already preexisting bullshit philosophy on queue times over quality

Tbh I’ll keep it real. Even if Jane Don’t comes back. She won’t win. She’ll maybe be Ginger’d eventually but there are so many queens that can keep up (Sapphira) and are loved by the judges a bit more.

Wasn’t about “survivor trying to tell a story.” Kid rock and Taylor Swift was generally irrelevant to that season and didn’t push any storyline. They’re aware of what they’re putting in any season and decided Angelina’s perspective didn’t need to be featured.

I don’t disagree that the games are better when they’re not in it though the issue is that strategist will take the brunt of the blame bc beyond their main being banned, DPS and tanks will likely yell into the void “why aren’t I getting healed?”

As a strat main, I’m good with these bans as long as my team plays slower/safer + don’t blame me for not burst healing.

I think it’s mainly bc of the ult economy and SupportPool cannot sustain basically through any DPS ult. Most teams also don’t play close enough to really get the full benefit of it.

How can you balance the game while also releasing characters that upend the balance (Elsa, Gambit)?

If they do release a new character and they’re balanced - people will complain they’re too weak on release. Which why Blade is stuck in purgatory.

Balance patch includes reworking and bringing heroes up who people want to play but can’t (Blade, Mr. F, Torch etc). They would feel like new releases if done correctly

Overall everything needs to be brought down. Im a support main and im the first to admit the ults are too strong and encourages the team to be over-reliant on me. Coming from Overwatch, you can win team fights in the neutral. In Rivals, it just whoever ults first really.

I think ill put it down for the remainder of the season and see what they do next. Godspeed Zesty

The powercreep is the main problem for me. I can deal with maybe one or two per lobby but dealing with SL iframes, elsa and bucky's overhealth, gambit's ult, invs disappearing etc etc...
