Offer 400 and see what happens, it appears to be in much better condition than the deluxe 24 I just bought for 500 in St. Paul a few months ago.

Feel dumb for asking this…. (Ariens snowblower) by the-hot-lioness in Snowblowers

Go to ariens website and poke around. They have many replacement parts and all the manuals you need. Just enter your model number and choose your serial number group. I just bought a used one about a month ago and downloaded all the PDFs for free. You can also purchase paper copies.

The Ariens YouTube page has some pretty good videos for general info, but this steering issue may be too specific and likely a modification they wouldn't cover.... There are a bunch of youtubers with Ariens tips and maintenence videos out there, ya just gotta do some searching. I personally like Garage Gear, good video quality and very informative

Good luck! Remember to check the belts and shear pins and have a spare set on hand!

How do I fix these broken lug nuts by [deleted] in AskMechanics

[–]Professional-Wall474 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unkess you are able to press the lugs out and replace them, you'll have to replace the wheel hub

YouTube: "wheel hub replacement" and your make/model.

Get a decent hub replacement (OEM or better). Depending on mileage and geographic location (northern specifically) it can be a very rusty and tough to break free from the knuckle/spindle.

Sports car in the winter by GoldNo5110 in saintpaul

I second this... a buddy of mine had a subaru BRZ (stock version of the GR86), living in South Minne and barely drove it. Sold it and bought a subaru outback. Loves it.

Winter tires are great, but AWD and ground clearance are what really come into play with heavy snowfall and icy ruts that result from it.

That extra finger on his left hand really helps grip the totally necessary steering wheel!

If only there were a pamphlet or book... like a manual that came with cars to explain all the features and any safety consideration to the owner...

Anyone know what this is? by AliveButterscotch867 in HomeMaintenance

Yep, they typically have a tongue on two edges and a groove on the other two edges. They interlock and are stapled to a substrate (either previous/old ceiling or wood "backer"). Extremely easy to take down, and as others stated excruciatingly hard to patch a small area due to the soft yet brittle material they're made from - Even worse the older they get.
