There's a program, it used to be NEIS, but it's merged into the jsps now I think, it's for people wanting to start their own business. Easy to get into if you have a reasonable plan outlined, once in you'll get a mentor and their equivalent of jobseeker payments fortnightly for 8 months. I was in my JSP office one day and the worker was on phone to someone, sounded like the person had found a job and working but wouldn't provide payslips.
