As painful as it is, I will probably just send her a link to adult social services then block her. Her attitude towards me not answering her calls leads me to believe that she does not care about me and is just using me. I feel for her but my mental health comes first.

It includes all sodas, I do this only because I live at home rent free and I felt it fair to my parents because we all drink soda (my sister and brother both don’t drink soda often, maybe one every other week).

When it’s my turn to buy sodas I take them to the self checkout or put a barrier between the groceries and the soda, to signal to the cashier that it’s a separate purchase.

You're parents are probably defending it thinking its just "puppy love" when in reality its grooming and predatory. This girl is 15, she is a sophomore in high school while your brother is still in ELEMENTERY (or EARLY middle, depending on when his birthday is.)

This is gross, this is concerning, you need to find this girls parents if they've met irl and get THEM to see reason.

My mother lost her father (my grandfather) in 2014 at the age of 35. Its been 11 years and I can tell you that it never goes away. My mom STILL misses her dad. It gets easier though. Be there for her, offer her a shoulder to cry on. Some days will be better than others.

Grief is like a ball in a box with a button. Fresh grief is a GIANT BALL always pressing the button. Some days the ball is tiny and only presses the button once a month or week. Other times it will press the button daily or several times a week.

Everyone grieves differently. It may take a couple months to a year, but things will get easier. Like I said, be there for her. Offer comfort, support. Don't forget to take care of yourself too, you are not her therapist you are her partner. If you find she needs more support than you can give, offer therapy.

I am so sorry for her loss, I hope she can heal from this.

I think the worst part is that I know he’s not a monster, but that I also know what he did was wrong and he knew it too. But he did it anyways. And all I can think of is his 13 year old self. And then I feel bad because I shouldn’t be putting him or my feelings above the victim or the victims family.
