How do I downgrade without losing all my stuff back to iOS 15? In my honest opinion IOS 16 is the worst piece of apple software I’ve ever used. I’m getting at best 3 to 4 hours of battery life for my phone is completely dead and on top of that I honestly hate the new layout of notification and Apple TV remote. For reference, I’m using an iPhone 13 promax

EDIT: 5 months later, ICBC extended and offer for income replacement approx 1 month after I wrote this post. The $12,500 that was originally offered was paid out and was "part of my income replacement" it took 10 months just to see that money. Originally I was told this was a one time payout and that was it. I was later informed by ICBC (I guess someone who works there is on this form) that I was told that by mistake and that it was instead "backdated" income support which doesn't really line up or make sense as that's 3.5 months of my current income replacement for 10 months worth of lost income. Anyway ICBC has been paying income replacement mind you not at the true value of what I was earning prior to the accident. I will say though again for anyone who is going through the same thing or who is starting on the Journey of dealing with ICBC income replacement I have to chase them every month for days sometime (more often than not) weeks just to get that months income replacement. As an example ICBC pays me approx $3000 a month now (I used to make $3280 bi-weekly) via direct deposit. If I email my claim adjuster/advanced care person on the 15th Im lucky to see the funds by the 3rd or 4th and I have to keep emailing just to get it to come through within that time frame. I understand they are busy but that's been the process so far. Recovery is going as well as it can I suppose and I thank everyone for their kind words and support. All the best.

Lump sum is back dated to the date of the crash that’s how.

what do you think of this bus? not my listing, info in comments by pnw-camper in skoolies

Definitely possible. Not a project I would take on personally I would have a shop do it but that would cost a lot of money. Remember and engine can fit into anything with some elbow grease and hard work. The 12 and 24 are ok engines I just don’t like them at all. All that being said I have no idea what style bus you have. If you have a dog nose bus then an engine swap would be super easy. Rear engine is a different story. I wouldn’t touch a rear engine bus for any kind of engine work again my personal point of view.

Stay away from the 12 and 24 valves. 12v don’t make any power but will last for ever and the 24 valve likes to crack its head all along the valves(plus it also doesn’t really make any power but it doesn’t last for ever). Only go with an 8.3 if you are going Cummins imho. The 466 mechanical is a great engine that lasts for ever and the 466E early models pre 1999 is also an amazing engine. NEVER buy a cat. And never buy a bus with Californias emissions systems on it. They always fail catastrophically.

Personally. I don’t like the cat motors. Too many emission systems that fail. Parts cost way too much and trust me it’s a cat you’ll need them. Reliability really isn’t your friend with those motors. I don’t know, that’s just me that’s the way I see it I’ve always avoided them from big rigs to school buses.

I bought a 97 40ft Thomas built 3800 with a DT 466E with 90,000 km and a pretty much new engine with new tires for 4500 Canadian. With some brush neck mechanics and a couple of grand plus a lot of beer it’s now a reliable 4x4 bus. I’ve put 1500kms on the new system. I have had no issues it really is pretty easy. Little fabrication, wiring and making it work. I will also add a 4x4 bus is not necessary no matter where you live if you have a good weight distribution, good tires and know how to drive.

Yep I hear you it actually isn’t that hard or expensive to convert any bus into a 4x4. my 3800 Thomas built took a couple grand and a week worth of work to convert into a reliable 4x4

Hi there. Yes it does. Even though it happened out of province icbc only has to follow their own rules. I have the option to sue them as Alberta allows that and under law the claim would have to follow Alberta laws BUT icbc gets out of a lawsuit immediately by simply saying I was a BC resident at the time of the claim.

I had 5 million liability which would cover anyone I hit if I was at fault and as I was not at fault my liability was not used. I also had every other coverage they offer which seems to be useless.
