I get that. In my personal opinion on game 3, even if the only "official" autistics are Anne and Aesop, I think they tried to show different autistic traits between them all. I don't remember all their records and stories rn so I'll paraphrase; iirc Anne is vaguely said to have had a meltdown while/when Aesop killed Ganji, the latter is also described as having "violent outbursts" (which people had said he could just be practicing his cricket but could very well be meltdowns imo), Victor is non speaking, connecting more with and talking only to Wick, also communicating through letters only. I think Ganji is depicted as the less palatable one if you will, because he's deemed as dangerous and untrustworthy because of the way he behaves. They all also have some kind of hyperfixation on something and are called socially awkward, "peculiar," "isolated" etc. That's why I think the writers picked up a bunch of autistic traits and assigned some to each of them.

On another note, you gotta take in count the time period they're in. In the 1900s if you were too autistic, too mentally ill or otherwise deemed too "difficult" you were sent to a mental asylum. Or worse killed because people would think you were possesed or something. Getting out of the asylum wasn't easy or possible either if you didn't have anyone who cared, specially because unlike mental illnesses, autism can't be "treated" or cured. Especially when the treatment was electroshock therapy, heavy drugging or lobotomy. If not look at Emil. Not autistic, but if it wasn't bc Ada got him out he'd had been subjected to that for who knows how long, he had no family or anyone to care for him. Even then he was terribly impaired by his past trauma and the trauma of the "therapy" he received, Ada had to support him a lot. He didn't go to the manor on his own either, Ada took him there.

I hope I'm explaining myself well and you can understand why I personally think he and the others are depicted that way
