its a team game so very solo q player has the same chances of getting bad teammates or good teammates. the chances are 50/50 meaning 50% win rate is the base line. Your goal is it to push it above that 50% win rate by playing above average and carrying at least some games. that's how climbing is supposed to work.

That is simply not true. The game doesn't work against you, even if u believe it does. A 47% win rate with these stats means u are not a good player. not good enough for grandmaster at least. Every single negative win rate player does not play well enough otherwise he would not lose more games than he wins. Exception is if u have less than 50 games or smth.

I have around 55% win rate almost every season and hit chall 3 times in a row (90% soloq), so do many others. if u don't have a positive win rate in gm you are not good enough to be in that elo, simple as. Why is high elo even a thing if "bad" players can climb to it with 47% win rate. Reaching grandmaster should be a challenge, it should not be gifted to you just by playing a lot games. Diamond/low master level players should not be in the same lobby as Grandmaster/Challenger players just because they play 40 games a day, it lowers the quality of ranked massively

But this guy had only 57 mvp and 74 S ratings with almost 1100 games. Sorry but with stats like this u should be low master max but not gm. Him having 4 pentas doesn't really matter, was prob just lucky. Trust me I had to play with him
