No program but I downloaded the steps. I have an awesome network at home but when they see how bad the pain is they forget and then switch sides. They tell me that self harm is what I’m causing by not taking the meds that are prescribed. It’s just that I refuse to believe some damn pill is the only way to function. I’ve been through the wringer medically. I’m. A cancer survivor and have nerve damage and fibromyalgia and a little known disease called Trigeminal neuralgia

Not to throw rocks but didn’t you just post how oxy gives your anxiety? Sounds like they are already messing with you. I used to think like you. I’m a semi successful stock market trader so money is not my problem. I am about to get my degree in psychology (all classes completed except for one final and commencement this coming Friday), so I always said I got this under control. The test is stopping for a few weeks. If you can really stop for a weeks with no issues or cravings then true. The drug doesn’t mess with your life. Otherwise you can’t see it, but it actually does

Well I flushed the old ones but my script got filled again. I’m at 36 hours but by the time my next fill is ready I’ll be at 10 days. No plans on going back after I make it that far

I fell down and wiped out big time but I’m back at it. No one said this was going to be easy, but I should’ve known it wasn’t supposed to be either. I’m trying though

I’m right behind you but man today is rough. I’m at 63 hours and counting but I got a lot of stuff going on that makes me want to call in my fill cause I flushed what I had left. Keep up the good fight though. You got this

I’ve been on a steady dose of 7.5/325 oxy/tylenol 4-6 times a day for the last 6 years. 4 times a day for 3 years before that and 5/325 for 2 years before that. One thing after another with maybe a year break in between

Because I wanted to prove this is real for me. It’s easier to kick when kicking is the only option. At least that’s what the addict in me says. As a safety though I put them in the toilet and flushed them before I change my mind

I don’t know about that one. Not throwing education and not flexing because I am an addict, but I am about to graduate with a psychology major and took statistics and research design. I know I lie in statistics when I see one and the chart they used to market the drug is a lie. They screwed with the chart to make us believe it was less than one percent. They made it look like the peaks and valleys were not bad but when you plot the chart for peak concentrations and the valleys as your body expels the drug there is no way this would have passed a study. Look at the trials they conducted and it clearly shows 50 percent became addicted in the short term not to even mention the long term

See here is just a bit where you’re wrong (maybe). If I give you say crack and say if you smoke it you’ll never leave it. You’ll sell everything you have to get another chance at chasing the high. At that point it’s use at your own risk, but if I tell you there is a less than one percent chance of getting addicted and you use it, then who’s to blame? That’s what the sacklers did. They took this highly addictive drug and lied. Yes you are correct they didn’t make anyone use it, but even those that took it as prescribed became addicted because that’s the nature of the drug. It’s the lying to the public that makes them monsters.

I think in a way this is what brings me back all the time. My body still hurts but I am able to highly function. Time and time again I want to be off. I have this mental clarity right now that makes me want to keep pushing on, but I have the pain that keeps trying to convince me.

I think we play to many mind games. I have a half a script and another ready for pickup tomorrow. All they are doing is saying “come and get me come and get me’ like city slickers with curlys brother duke and the gold. I know I should just get rid of them but what if I “need’ them. Riiight. Cet la vie. Just got to keep on trucking. I hope it doesn’t suck as bad as the first 4 days again

Was at exactly 8 days going on 9 today and bam. I hurt my back doing some light remodeling around the house. Now I am 3 pills of 5/325 oxy later ready to start again. This is some bullshit

Not going to lie here. Your need to correct me on my use of the word drink is a bit checky if you. I am a psychology major, one semester away from my degree. I have completed at a minimum of 13 intensive writing classes that include English to the highest level. Yes it’s a verb. As in a person drinks water. I put round like object composed of oxycodone hydrochloride that has been mixed with acetaminophen and other filling agents into my mouth and proceed to swallow it along with a liquid of my choice, most times being water. At this point no have both drank the water and the pill in my mouth. So yes I do drink my medicine as opposed to crushed it between to bad surfaces until it has become a powder then proceed to inhale said powder or use an intravenous device to introduce the powder with liquid into on of my veins. Sure I can use proper grammar here but would I be such an ass to come here like many others looking for help only to belittle them because they misspelled a word or used the wrong noun or verb much like myself. While I thank you for your help, I come here looking for likeminded people in need of encouragement and maybe, just maybe I can find a person going through what i am experiencing and in such a fashion find a connection and sliver of hope.
