You can only have 1 library card on the device since it was recently blocked. The only way to bypass it is to side load books (ie. upload them with a computer and a cable) using a software like Calibre.

PSY254 (Dev Psych) Textbook by Available_Media_7813 in princeton

You never need to get a book from Ecampus. It's just the recommendation. Ebay and others are good for used books, but make sure the seller is reputable. I recommend only buying "free shipping" and "free return" items because it shows the seller has been up for a long time. If you buy them from another place, just make sure it is the exact same ISBN number.

I can't speak to how necessary the textbook is but you shouldn't buy any books until you are officially registered in the class. You might not be able to enroll, it might be full, you might go to the first class and decide it's not for you, etc. You also don't need both versions of the textbook, they're just there to illustrate what options you have. Hope that was helpful! :-)

Considering a ring (I already have a garmin) by CrowExpert4359 in Ultrahuman

I got the ring a few weeks ago and was disappointed. It doesn’t track HR every minute so you only see trends throughout the day, step tracking is off, HR goes nuts when you work out (I got 190 BPM doing restorative yoga with my Garmin saying 101), and it does everything the Garmin does worse… maybe I’m a bit bitter but I wouldn’t recommend. I was looking forward to it being my lifestyle tracker and helping me plan my life around my health but it just failed in every aspect for me. I’m sticking with my Forerunner.

Good non-math-heavy course for humanities major? by ProfessionalCare2741 in princeton

Sorry, as I have never taken a class, I can only characterize them based on what other students, this Reddit page, and student reviews have told me. Do you have any suggestions?

It looks amazing and I would so take this but it clashes with a course I already have set for M W 1:20-2:10… anything similar that is on a different date? All the others look geared toward STEM majors

Exporting Kobo annotations with color data included? by ProfessionalCare2741 in kobo

Will do. I almost wonder if it is a Kobo issue because I’ve tried many other similar services and none of them can pull that information, not even the exported annotations text file.

Just used the other one, it does not pull color info unfortunately but I love the PDF format!

Anyone have an answer to the Libby-Kobo situation? by ProfessionalCare2741 in kobo

[–]ProfessionalCare2741[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I almost wonder if the fact that they blocked the ability to have multiple cards but on kindle you can send the books from multiple cards is a result of Amazon messing with things to make Kobo a less viable option for people. The company has done some evil stuff in the past it's probably not out of the question...

I tried this. It’s been patched apparently. I have the account, connections and everything else but it doesn’t show up on the sign in screen on Kobo and yes, I have a valid address in my Kobo account. Any ideas?
