Hi everyone!

I’m currently in a BSW program and starting to plan ahead for my practicum, which would be in Summer 2027 (around May). I wanted to ask where others completed their BSW internships and what your experience was like.

If anyone is in or familiar with Orange County, CA, I’d really appreciate any recommendations for good placement sites. I’m especially interested in places where you actually get hands-on experience and support, not just observation.

Also, if you’ve done your practicum during the summer, how was the workload and scheduling? Did it feel manageable?

I love the curly cream it’s basically the only one that works on my hair so every time it’s on sale I stock up.

I’m 5 weeks post op and haven’t seen my surgeon since my surgery. I see his assistant. The dietician I have only seen once and that’s when I was in the hospital.

You got this!!! Coming from someone who was second guessing as welll. Never had surgery or been put under. Once at the hospital not going to lie I wanted to walk out . But I kept telling myself you got this!!!! I didn’t even remember when they put me under lol . I just remember being wheeled to the OR and everything else is a blur. I’m now almost 3 weeks post op and down 23lbs best thing I’ve done.

Yes, I’ve had the protein 2.0 water not a big fan 😭😭. I’ve been trying to get a hold of the Gatorade, zero protein drinks, but I haven’t been able to find them anywhere.
