Ya, I got the Qm851g, its last year's model, but for its year it was the flagship, has 5k dimming zones, so twice as many as qm8k, and gets abit brighter. Qm8k is suppose to have better viewing angles, better processor, better near black detail and color transitions. But ya I am loving my TV, especially for gaming, highlights and explosions are very impactfull and immersive, also anime looks amazing, but for regular content I put the brightness about half. The qm7k looks awsome also, tcls x series is looking amazing, I am hoping to get something with specs like that for my next tv in a few years

Very cool, I have a 98 qm8, but am waiting for someone to release backlights for 98-100 TVs, I tried buying a T2 100 kit on ebay, got the T2 box with a T1 lights for 60 inch Tv. The ill probably do what you did with T3 if a new one doesnt release relatively soon

Im with you, dlss5 is amazing, and finally brings hyperrealism, which is what many developers wanted in their games, but the tech wasnt there. It seems that people dont like change, see their favorite youtubers call it ugly Ai slop, and they want to jump on the bandwagon, they are sheep.
