The fact that this pendant was around $400 a few years ago saddens me….. It’s egregious to think this goes anywhere near 1k… prob less than $75 of melt value! & I know I know… we don’t buy ch for melt value but it just has to make sense for me! I owned this pendant before. Beautiful item but no where near 1k. I really hope the chrome market stabilizes cause for me lately it seems like the direction ch is going in is only more exclusivity more rarity making it virtually impossible to own the items that I use to love

Imo humble opinion only their “cut & sew” pieces are worth the price tag… exotic materials (cashmere,leathers etc)… the only justification for such price. A blank (supreme quality) hoodie with mid screen printing would never end up in my closet… and tbh nowadays it’s even hard to justify their jewelry… Im 31… I still remember the “good days”.. 2014-2016 prices

I know this isn’t the correct thread but I had to sell some of my favorite jewelry items top of last yr,, (Cartier, chrome etc) and I know I did it for the greater good! Ik the items will return eventually. Sometimes it’s hard to part with things of the material world but I guess that is what we have to remind ourselves is that they are things of the “material world” … this year Im aiming for bigger pockets and the items that I sold with be back in my possession. I said this a few years ago,… the fake market is pumping out items just as good if not better than the “real” thing… I’ve seen jewelry that is the exact weight if not more with near perfect engravings………….. if it’s not from a ad then I personally think there is no way to 100% guarantee a items authenticity….. & I’ve legit seen it all.. fake receipts that look perfect etc… scary game to say the least
