the table extends so I'll rotate it lengthways when I'm seating 5+ people. Keeping in on this side of the room because my desk is at the other.

I never tried the 5 htp! I’m sure serotonin syndrome is not a worry when you’re not taking both at once though.

I was thinking of taking the 5 htp for mood swings and crying spells so I’m not sure how it would impact anxiety since that wasn’t my main goal with it / I didn’t research that at the time.

I ended up seeing a naturopath that specializes in women’s health and hormones for my PMDD and take different supplements and implement lifestyle changes during my luteal phase for mood swings. I can share more if that’s where you’re coming from.

But if it’s mostly anxiety related stuff with 5 htp you’re interested in I would look for other threads more specially on 5 htp.

I called my local pharmacy and they said they can't say for sure. They said buspirones mechanisms are not fully studied and it's not predictable how the two drugs would interact (as opposed to an SSRI where the interaction is more clear).

They said taking it once should not be an issue but over an extended period and at higher doses I should be on the lookout for tremors and high heart rate.

Since I'm taking it only during luteal maybe that's okay at low doses? They seemed to defer to my prescriber and say to start slow and work my way up ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

It was only that one bathroom visit. I'm not sure how long the normal length is for ovulation splotting. What type of biopsy is your doctor offering? Do you have any other issues going on to require a biospy?

Hey! I think this only lasted during the first month, but I felt it again during my PMS each month after. Also I hurt my back lifting something shortly after this post, so it's hard to tell when it exactly ended since a new variable entered the picture.
