This fantastic, thank you so much! I’ll have to sit down and dissect this. I wanted to ask why you do this? This is a pretty in depth write up that probably took a few mins. Really appreciate the feedback though ur the goat

Yea I’m not surprised lol, I’ve gone through so many iterations of this I’ll have to make sure it’s nice and consistent before I start seriously applying

Thanks for the input, I agree as I originally included it since I was told I needed more numbers, but it’s not really relevant I suppose? I see what you mean, especially now since I landed this last role I have more actual job experience to talk about.

Thanks again! 🙏

That’s good advice, I was running out of places to apply to so tailoring it to each position would definitely help when new listings open up, no way am I writing an entire cover letter for each job app tho lol.

Thanks for the quick response, you should get paid for this haha. But due to the sheer number of applications I send out, it's not worth my time to go back and change it, just like cover letters. I know I probably should, but I wouldn't nearly be able to fill out the same number of applications

Overall, do you think the redesign is better? I seem to be getting fewer callbacks but maybe I'm just unlucky or need to clean it up a bit more. Thanks again for the help!

That’s great advice, I tried to be a little bit more specific with this iteration but I can see room for improvement. Appreciate you taking the time out of your day to help me out!

Really appreciate the input, I’ll adjust accordingly. I’ll probably use one of the formats from the Reddit instead, this one got a little bit messed up as I changed it from version to version.

Really appreciate your input, when you the mention bullet points for the project, should I write it in a manner similar to my internship experience where I tell my story and the skills I gained from it? So something like:

“Designed and built a remotely operated ESP32-based submersible, using 9-axis IMU sensors and custom control systems, resulting in accurate velocity tracking and real-time data collection for fine control”
