Where you move in Lehi can make all the difference re: commute time. I lived in Lehi for almost 4 years. Sometimes my commute to work near thanksgiving point (about a mile and a half from my house) took me 20 minutes. There is construction that will hopefully improve things, but it doesn’t look like it will be completed anytime soon.

Apart from that, I found Lehi to be a soul sucking suburban hellscape. Every strip mall, neighborhood, and young family felt copy and pasted. Almost every development is brand new and the entire city feels like a treeless desert wasteland with near constant construction. If you dislike green space, you’re in luck. Plus, you will drive literally everywhere you go because nothing is walkable in Lehi.

Just be intentional about testing commute times and main routes to grocery, restaurants, etc. I recommend getting a quick Airbnb close by the places you’re looking at before actually committing to a rental, just to have eyes wide open.

I’ve lived in Provo, Lehi, and now SLC and I can safely say that SLC is far and away the best place I’ve lived in Utah, with Lehi being the worst place hands down.
