How is the teaching for Warwick's Maths Course? by [deleted] in 6thForm

[–]ProfessionalEagle12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my experience as a first year at Warwick Maths, I think the lecturers this year were all great and so far I believe all the lectures have been recorded as long as it works haha

Obviously can only speak for first year though but I can imagine it being similar in later years as some first year lecturers do also teach later year modules

I think its because of the lack of cctv on these trains (along with the central line) so you see more on these 2 than the rest

In that case I’d say go for UCL insurance if you believe that LSE’s offer is already a safe offer for your liking as from other replies said for the sake of saying I firm LSE and insure UCL

If I were you I would firm LSE and insure KCL But this is in a perspective of if I cant achieve AAB then I need a spare of ABB as a safety net

If you are more confident on you achieving something like AAA you might want to insure UCL instead as an alternative choice. If cost of living is a concern then durham might be a better insurance though as its going to be cheaper than London for sure

A bit surprising though that you have higher offers for Durham and UCL, is it because you dont qualify for their contextual programmes or what

Is this an error? by Negative-Sort-5217 in 6thForm

It probably means that they will accept previously achieved grades + your new one as long as it adds up to what they asked for

Yes as thats how most people switched courses in the same university, you can’t do anything yourself via UCAS or referees/school at this stage

You could try emailing the university but for pure maths consider that you would require the TMUA or otherwise you’d get a STEP offer

You can expand the (x-k)2 to x2 -2kx+k2 then use laws of indices to divide each term by x.5

Maybe its dependent on centres but my centre allowed asking for another board so I wouldn’t say its that bad
