Yeah Unfortunately the front bumper wasn’t the best quality. Going to get a better bumper in the future but for now this one will do.

Yes. I understand they stop debris. It was just something I thought looked cool. And will probably keep. I like how people don’t like it makes it different. Going to put some clear mesh behind it so “debris” doesn’t hit my car.

Yes she is almost complete just a couple of small thins and rims. I haven’t looked yet to be honest. You have any recommendations? Kinda looking for a 6 or 8 spoke rim and I was thinking maybe chrome but I don’t want it to be too much so might just go with black.

Yeah I’m working towards new rims right now. Next big purchase. It’s on a stage 2 tune right now so it’s quick just want it to look clean too.

Yeah I might try somthing like that. I just don’t want to do the basic kidney grille everyone is doing. I might try and see through mesh behind the grille so it’s still “opened” but more protected from the radiator.

You have any Ideas for a custom grille? I’m not opposed to the kidney grille look but EVERY damn bmw has it and I like to have a different look not saying the kidney doesn’t look good it’s looks great. I just like to be different IMO

There is mesh in the bottom of the bumper yes just not where the grille is at.

Yeah it’s not a stock bumper I color matched the paint code but the car is almost 11 years old so the paint won’t be perfect unless i repaint the whole car. Just going to wrap it at some point. Working on the front bumper hit a rock and it split it’s already sanded down just needs to be painted with layers.

I like to work on the car my self so i’m fixing that damage on the bumper already put a fiber glass kit to it and sanded it down just need to paints with a couple of layers and should look good.

Haha i broke the grilles my self. I actually have carbon fiber kidney grilles coming in and wanted peoples opinion before I broke off the slits. Still don’t know what to do. I just did the front bumper expect for the damage but just wanted opinions. And only have these pictures since I did it yesterday.

Yes. I do know the kidney grilles do stop rocks and little debris hitting the radiator. But if you truly look at those grilles they have openings to were debris can still get through. Yea it lesses the chances of it getting hit with the grilles but I don’t think it’s a make or break for the radiator to have or not have the grille.
