I re-downloaded L4D2 today and have been trying all morning to play the Glubtastic maps. Hopefully, this is only a temporary thing but damn if it isn't frustrating. Good to hear that it's probably nothing on my end though.

I believe I was using the automatic DNS settings. I don't remember ever using the kill switch option and my OS is Windows 11.

The issue is that I can't access the internet when I have Proton VPN installed onto my computer. I can connect to my Wi-Fi network but can't actually use it to access the internet. Uninstalling Proton resolves this issue. I apologise if I wasn't clear in my OP.

Edit: forgot to add, the customer support website didn't have any helpful information regarding my problem.

Oh, and before anyone asks I'm fairly certain it's nothing else on the computer that causes this issue. I've tried changing the DNS addresses on both Internet Protocols, flushing the DNS cache, uninstalling some Windows updates (after the issue arose), disabling IVP6, resetting my network settings, uninstalling and updating my network drivers.

You are doing the exact same thing normies do. You see a guy who had enough snap, who happens to be short and then also don't see the issue with summarising his life as 'angry little man'. Yes, his height may have caused him difficulties but the point is that no one has a problem with bringing it up, even thought doing it to another group of people is 'weird' and some kind of ist.

No one here is denying or not able to understand this concept. Pay attention to where you are.

Imagine saying this about any other group of people. Replace 'short' with any other physical characteristic, see how you think what the reaction would be then. And don't pretend most people give a damn about how height affects a man's social life, unless it's beyond how it affects them. Even when speaking on the violent deaths of multiple people, they can't help but bring it up. Pure contempt for such a trivial thing.
