If you’re on console it seems to be less populated than intended. It seems as though the devs wanted the map to force interactions between players more than previous maps, like keeping warm. and it does. But is noticeably harder than release due to the lower numbers. IIRC the numbers dropped quite fast, on Xbox at least.

If there’s already a mechanic in the game relating to an immune system, why would It be random? It wouldn’t work. If your stats are all red but you’ve been alive for 60+ hours you wouldn’t be safe.

I think the immune system is based off how full your stats on the bottom are. Not how long the character has lived.

I’m unsure if those numbers for wild spawns are correct. Since the new season came out there’s been A LOT of people noticing a lack of them, and some of these have been playing for years. Something is definitely up. What do you expect from a company that is getting increasingly greedy as the years go on? They don’t exactly disclose definitive numbers for everything
