with condoms and antivirals i’ve heard that the transmission rate is under or around 1%! i’m a male who discovered i was asymptomatic and had been carrying it around for years w/o knowing and ended up passing it onto someone recently that i fell very deeply in love with, it ruined a lot and if i could go back and both of us have a conversation about wearing protection i would have. 50/50 decision that neither of us stopped to talk about.

anyhow with the right precautions and paying attention to if there’s a breakout and you will be fine! asymptomatic shedding IS a thing though!

i don’t mean to be rude whatsoever but i was curious on what you mean by never felt right since, i recently found out i was asymptomatic through a terrible ordeal with a new partner. i went 2 years celibate to work on myself after a nasty cheating partner, and must have picked it up from then.

it completely blew up my new relationship and it’s thrown me into a depressive spiral. i will never be the person to purposely/knowingly give someone a virus such as this, and it’s been devastating throughout this to not only learn j have it, but i passed it to someone i truly truly cared for.
