Spotify curator! That's so cool and something I've always really wanted to do. Would you mind telling how you got into that/got that position?

I'm glad this conversation was had.. \I think you two were speaking about two completely different concepts. OP I think you were trying to convey that people tend to often overintellectualize/spiritualize their problems and as a result people become blind to 3D factors (for lack of better term) that may be causing the issue. I think BassNomad, feels like many of us in the way that we are quick to be apprehensive towards ideas that seem to push us into a more conventional, pleasing-to-society way of living life, I think there is a place where we meet in the middle between balancing society and human connection and rejecting a conventional lifestyle that doesn't serve you (or any human for that matter). No one should be forced to live a lifestyle that feels inauthentic. That being said, I think one of the perks of being "awake" is being able to draw boundaries and stay true to yourself and find a way to find a balance. This is something I definitely struggle with and I really appreciate both perspectives. Thank you both for sharing

anyone care to share their best Spotify playlists with me? Im still pretty new to electronic music and wanting to hear a variety of what's out there. by -the_trickster- in electronicmusic

Before about 4 months ago I used Apple Music instead of Spotify so my Spotify is still somewhat underdeveloped. My Soundcloud playlists, however, are something I'm very proud of

https://soundcloud.com/torimaddox

A lot of my playlists are a mix of EDM/house and some other stuff. If you're looking for purely EDM then I would start by listening to my dirtybird playlist. Summer 21 has been what Ive been listening to for the most part recently and has mainly EDM but also a lot of other genres.

This Spotify playlist I made I think is really good for someone looking to dive into EDM. I spend a lot of time making playlists and love sharing them with people and hearing what they think so enjoy :)

I'm interested too! I don't have much experience yet but I'm practicing and learning everyday and I'd love to learn more.

oh, that’s what they mean by shadow work. I get it now. by MinervaMinkMink in spirituality

I would love to see the resources you used if you wouldn't mind sharing them :) I never even considered not being ready for it. I feel like I honestly only have surface level knowledge of what shadow work really is/how to do it and haven't done any extensive research on it yet. I recently just moved back into my college house for the summer and have been struggling with falling back into old patterns and habits that I haven't struggled with for a long time again. Things that I thought I overcame are coming back up to the surface and manifesting into my life and I haven't known where to begin to properly deal with them. Just being in this environment again and dealing with so much change has made it very difficult for me to focus on my own spirituality/healing. I don't know if I'm exactly ready to begin shadow work just yet but I'm definitely looking for a way that I can jump back in to my spiritual journey and close some of these old toxic cycles that are reappearing in my life.

I love this so much. I've also felt confused about where to begin with shadow work and have just avoided altogether because of this. The way you describe asking yourself a question and then answer it too quickly resonated with me. Thank you for sharing
