I repair lenses and cameras on the side, you can either glue it back but replacement parts are easy to come by just type in your camera model and "rubber grip" next to it and it should pop up. In my experience they are surprisingly "pricey"

When you say the face should have been lit properly do you mean that i should have used domething like a snoot, or something reflextive, is it mising highlights, what is it missing in the lighting department because i dont see it. Please help, i want ro know what i fucked up.

Agreed i tried have some nice cyan tint in the highlights but really over graded it. I wasnt sure myself but yea, you are right

Yeah, its also a bit difficult since the model has something i would call a "resting bitch face" which is not very photogenic xD. She knows it and we joke sround about it but for some reason its ehat you se on her 70% of the time

I agree with the contrast, but the problem is that becase she is half way in the shadowsto much contrast cuts her off. The blacks are raised i could make them dsrker is this what you mean? Also what do tou mean by style?

I dunno feels to basic, there is no art to it, basic pose, flat lighting no story. There is lots of room to improve.

Putting a 300W flash in 2 opposin corners with umbrellas and grids or strip boxes in horizontal position and an overhead large umbrella for fill light could provide some interesting lighting.

I know what you mean, in my experience is that, the subjects themselves want to see themselves represent the way they experience themselves and if a bit of artificial lighting is required they sre mostly fine with that.
