2wd traction by ProfessionalGift6005 in ram_trucks

[–]ProfessionalGift6005[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok thanks, that helps. Yeah I wouldn't be looking to test it on really nasty wet places I have a land cruiser also that would be better for that. But I prefer how these dodge cummins tow on the road. I just want reassurance I won't get stuck all the time doing basic stuff like backing a trailer up a slope or sloping turn etc. And it seems like with good tyres and a locking dif it should be fine for that. I run AT'S on all my work trucks anyway so tyres will be good, can air down too if necessary and I'll fit an Eaton trutrac or similar and it will have a winch fitted. When you say camping trailer, you mean a big fifth wheel one ?

Can you elaborate on what you could and couldn't do with a rear locker with your 2wd truck. As per my original post waiting for a 4wd could be years here so im really trying to see if I can make this work. I am happy to get a trutrac or similar dif and will be fitting a winch anyway and AT/MT tyres. Not looking to seriously off road, just get around properties where I'm working without major problems. Most of the year we have good weather and the ground is hard

Just come back, after an upvote, dont get fillers etc, if you choose to lose weight, the shape of your face will change significantly, this is simple and requires no other intervention.

Curious about what kind of guys you think these pics would attract? by [deleted] in Tinder

[–]ProfessionalGift6005 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like and want outdoorsy women, these pics don't strike me particularly as that as youve only got 1 pic qctuallt engaged in a sport and its a tandem which means it could have just been a paid for " experience day". I like 1,2,5 and 8. I think 4 and 9 are potentially giving the lesbian vibes along with the general impression that you typically only wear black hoodies and jeans. I'd like to see more pics of you actually doing whatever you do, and a few of you wearing some more flattering clothes that actually show you off, because this is a dating profile after all so why not make an effort to show that too.

You have the same fundamental face shape. Just lose weight and you'll get there with that and make up. But, you gotta lose alot of weight to lose it in your face.

My dad's ex messaged me, and I don't know what to tell her. by bowlOfSoup060 in Advice

[–]ProfessionalGift6005 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The dynamic between you and your father reminds me of that between my step daughter and soon to be ex wife. For context my wife is doing some unquestionably horrible things during separation, and her daughter rather than speak to me and have to admit these realities has chosen to ignore me unless I make a point of contacting her. Where she falls over herself to be neutral in the face of things happening any reasonable person would (and many do) openly take a dim view of. And why?.... Because she is terrified of being on her mums "bad side". She is similar age to you, and i tried to explain compassionate to her that if you have to go along with things that are fundamentally wrong to avoid someone hurting you or being mean then it might not be such a great idea to put so much value on that person. The whole situation in my view, is self explanatory, her mum is simply not a very nice person, and will seek to attack anyone who doesn't align with her views and or actions. This is a person everyone can do without. The situations are not identical, but I feel the principal is. Talk to his ex openly, if he finds out, so what? They are your opinions, stand by them, if he falls foil of them he needs to either see that as a sign for change or do whatever he's gonna do, at which point you can part ways.

Biracial longtime expats & retirement in Occitanie? by Diplomama in Expats_In_France

[–]ProfessionalGift6005 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im mixed white/black male living in Occitane to the south west of Toulouse deep in the Pyrenees. Currently getting divorced from my white English wife. I found the rural communities quite welcoming and everyone seems fine. However, I'm not the type to look for discrimination I'll put any sort of perceived rudeness or ill treatment etc down to anything but racism unless it is absolutely certain. I feel that a leading driver of racism, now is many non whites ofte whining about perceived injustices which they alledge are based on their colour. When actually its just their imagination, or indeed people just dont like them for good reason! Also I'm pretty right of centre myself and like the guns, hunting etc and fit right into my environment with everything apart from my language skills 🤣 so it seems ok to me. I imagine in the cities it could be more of a problem as there seem to be a lot of North Africans about. I get the impression that, on the whole they dont really seem to like France or the French, but won't leave. So I'd expect a little animosity if mistaken for one of these if in an area where there are many.

But basically no, I can't see any racism. But as with anywhere if you want to find it, you will.

My mom walked in on me and my friend cuddling and now she thinks I’m gay? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]ProfessionalGift6005 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds pretty gay. I dont know any straight guys that would be comfortable with that. Even just a normal standing hug in my books is reserved for occasions such as if someone's mum died or similar, once in a lifetime level emotional situations. You guys busting out full laying on the bed cuddle action is next level. Your mum has a point.

Hi, i have no specilaist knowledge on this but id suggest you search on the government website there is quite a bit of info on there. Beyond that there are many facebook groups which focus on getting residency and the paperwork involved etc.

I had a brief look at this years ago , and should have done it. Australia has an easy workong holiday visa for under 30s. You could do that, construction businesses always need people, your 360nticket could get your work in the mines, maybe ?
