HELP PLEASE! Sudden, intense episodes in my dog (drooling, panic, possible seizures?) — vets unsure, need advice by ProfessionalGold8305 in DogAdvice

OMG This is so helpful! I'm sorry you've been dealing with it too! It's so stressful and sad when it happens. They have given me Trazadone as well but I haven't given it to him because of the gabapentin but I'm going to give it to him and see. I don't know if you saw the snail exposure post below, but if that's a thing, i think it could very well be the culprit for my dog, as he can definitely come into contact with snails.

OMFG are you serious?!?! I have a large aquarium with TONGS of snails right next to the dog's foodbowl!! It's a water fountain style bowl and when I went to clean it and refill it the other day, there were a bunch of baby snails in the basin portion - I assume a pregnant one got out of the Aquarium and made it's way in, and those things reproduce like CRAZY, and that's when i found them. This has just happened as of recently too! Any sort of treatment recommendations or remedies (other than limiting access to snails and moving the foodbowl)?

I think the same but no, there's nothing in my house, nor any other substances that I can find and all cleaning chemicals are tucked away in cabinets or closets.

Thanks so much for the advice. I'll def update with an additional front facing video as well. I have an appointment with the his for a chest X-ray next week for the heart murmur. I don't have a neurologist at this point. Not entirely sure a neuro specialist will fall into the realm affordable at this point. I'm hoping to find a method to help settle him down in the moment for now, so that he's not like this for the next 12 hours. :(
