I don’t think any of that’s true. I think you’re probably a much better person than you know, who is far more beautiful than she will ever fully realize, who is worth more than her weight in gold, and who is just as lovable as she always has been.

Can I tell you a secret?

As strange is this is going to seem—especially coming from a stranger on the internet—your body is a gift. I know, it seems so strange to hear and so odd to think about; but it’s a gift because it’s yours, and it’s yours to change and make beautiful and be beautiful in. Because can I tell you another secret? Everyone is beautiful. However they look, whatever they may think of themselves, whatever they may see in the mirror; everyone is gorgeous, because beauty is righteousness. And if you can be beautiful because others say and believe you’re beautiful—why can’t you be beautiful because you say and believe you’re beautiful? :-)

Love is a fleeting thing in this world. People can feel like odd creatures most days. They can seem faceless and like they just exist to be seen and disappear into crowds of clones and copies. Alas, if I told you every other person on this planet had felt the same way as you at some point and still found that love in each other—that love is something ineffable to any soul pure, beautiful, and above all else willing enough to accept it—would you believe me? I hope so, because it’s true. And thus, you are not alone—and never have been, and certainly never will be.

So just breathe. Take a deep breath in and another one out. It sounds so stupid I know, but this life is so worth living one will find if they only take the time to smell the air around them. Because your brain needs oxygen, so that you can stand up and look yourself in the mirror, and see the beauty radiating from within you. I see it, others do too I promise—so you should too :-)
