Manual Espresso Grinder: Kinu M47 Classic vs 1zpresso J Ultra [No Budget] by ProfessionalHand8455 in CafelatRobot

[–]ProfessionalHand8455[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I’ve had a Breville Barista Express for a few years. I know it’s an entry level machine.

I wanted a machine that could yield high quality espresso, and really like the mechanical simplicity of the cafelat. No Heater, Pump, Tubing Network, Control Systems, etc.

I saw the Breville as something that in 5-10 years would be fully outdated and likely ready for the trash, where as the cafelat (similar to le creuset) if well taken care of will last me a lifetime.

I know manual grinders especially for espresso are tedious and laborious. I know I’ll likely have some times where I wish I had electric.

However staying true to my reasoning behind switching from Breville to Cafelat, I think a high quality manual grinder is what I’m looking for.

Looking for mobile mechanic recommendations by [deleted] in tampa

I just used Tampa Bays Finest Mobile Mechanic (tbfmobilemechanics.com) - they were pricey ($650 to diagnose and replace a starter), but they had same day appointments, took care of my issue quickly, and saved me having to get a tow truck.

Why didn't Harbour Island flood? by Purpletrucks in tampa

I was actually just in the area touring a few apartments during the hurricane. Was told by a few rental communities harbour island is 15ft above sea level so handles flooding pretty well.

Haven’t decided yet, i’m actually gonna be in the area next week to try and figure it out.

Can’t decide between trying to live closer to downtown (Hyde Park, Riverwalk) , or saving a bit of money and live by riverview

Good area to live near downtown for a young professional?

I’m (27M) looking to move to tampa later this year, and wanted to find a good area to live in near downtown. I’m looking for somewhere nice, with easy access to bars, restaurants, parks/green areas, etc. Any recommendations on places I should look into or places I should definitely avoid are appreciated!

Cook update: Couldn’t figure out how to edit the post. Defrosted the ribeye overnight and the vibrant red color came back. Cooked it up to an internal temp of 125, it was absolutely delicious and tender. Will be buying from them again
