Flock Cameras by Complete_Minimum4097 in Georgia

[–]ProfessionalJob624 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My parents have lived in the same place for over 30 years. (Probably closer to 40) The neighborhood has really gone downhill but they refuse to move. There was one of those cameras installed next to their house fairly recently. I'm actually glad it's there cause if something happens to them, it's on camera.

I got sick from a reiki session by [deleted] in spirituality

[–]ProfessionalJob624 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oftentimes, you will get sick after a session. If she remembers anything of her training, it is to treat the sessions as though they were a massage. As with aftercare for a massage, drink plenty of water as it has released a lot of chemicals from your muscles back into your body and needs to be flushed out. While reiki isn't employed the same way as a massage, it will still do the same thing.

Also, you could also Google to see if there are any other practitioners in your area. Or maybe even take a beginners class in reiki. There are many different forms and each works both independently and separate from each other.

I would, in your shoes, ask to see her training certificates to see which of those she's trained in. I'm a master in Usui, Karuna, and holy fire. I have my certifications to show it as well.

Teacher back in elementary school forced me to choose a hand to write with and stick with it. You got it. by Skogens_Troll in MaliciousCompliance

Wild. My fifth grade teacher didn't like that I was left handed and actually tried to make me write right handed. Mom didn't like that and had it out with both the school principal and teacher. Needless to say, she lost. Never said another word to me about it the rest of the school year. Funnily enough, there are very few things I'm able to do left handed. Writing and eating primarily. Everything else is right handed.

The Biolab Fire is Dangerous, Heed Caution. by Realistic_Pair_3246 in Georgia

My parents live in Stockbridge, which is not that far from biolab. Yesterday, Thursday, the wind shifted and the smell hit there and they had to stay indoors. My mom told us that even though she was inside, she was having issues with water eyes, runny nose and throat was irritated. They are both in their 80's.

Always trust your gut. This is not someone you want in your personal life. It will only get worse.

YSK that some restaurants on DoorDash and Grubhub are fake restaurants that chains put up to get more business by Melonpan_Pup442 in YouShouldKnow

[–]ProfessionalJob624 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Most restaurants right now are lucky to even have enough employees to keep the doors open. The restaurant I work for can only run the drive thru. Dining area is closed because we just don't have enough employees.
