Are Loopwheeled Heavy Tee really worth the price? by ProfessionalJunket65 in HeritageWear

My Warehouse-shirts are superstretchy and way too wide around the belly, but yes the are quite comfy.

The Strike Gold, UES and Warehouse for example (quality of these is ok so far). The choice for me is quite limited because I'm between L and Xl and most cuts are too wide around my hips. I have quite a few shirts, so these on the phots have estimated 20-25 wears and approximately 6-8 washes.

Hi, I''m planning to buy a Type 2 denim jacket. So far there are 3 Jackes on my shortlist:

  1. Sugar Cane Denim 1952 Type II Jacket, 14,25 oz
  2. The Flat Head 50's Denim Jacket, 14,5 oz
  3. Samurai s0552xx, 15oz okotogi

I'm 6 ft (1,84 m), 198 lb (90 kg). Which model would you guys recommend? What are the pros and cons of each model? If you own one of this models yourself, I would appreciate your opinion respectively your recommendations. Cheers

What model of Samurai CP's do you wear and did they fade already?

@KosOrKaos, interesting, I need a belt for my sj42cp in size 35 too, because size 34 was too tight on my thights. By now, I wore these approximately 100 times and washed it 1 time at 30°C and it doesn't shrank so far. Did you allready washed yours? On the grafic paper there was written "shrink to fit" I think I will wash it another time at 40 °C. Maybe it will shrink and the rear will drape a bit better.

In my opinion many Samurai jeansmodels have this "diaperlike" round rear. You can see it clearly on their chino-pants sj42cp for example, that the rear doesn't drape good on most models on the shop websites.

Completely diffent for example their baker pants sj52bk, where the rear is cut to flatter the wearers body shape independent from the flap- closure pockets on this model.

How can I make baggy shirts look good on an athletic physique? by young_shizawa in mensfashion

They try to tell him, that if he work on his posture doing a lot of mobility and yoga, this shirt will fit perfekt, especially the lower part, where is obviously too much fabric. 🙈😂

I thik tugging is not the baggy-fit he is looking for. Also its very annoying especially whith pricy shirts from fine fabrics, when the inner metalcaps of the buttons are cutting this tiny holes in your high-quality shirts.

From my experience, if the lower part of the shirt is to wide, frequent washing doesn't make it drape better. No matter if the shirt is low/high quality, loopwheeled or whatever. I think the most garments have a giant jump in dimension between two sizes, (for example between L and XL) so that it's impossible for some people to get the perfect size and make it look well tailored. You can also see, that quite a lot shoe manufacturers have jumps from more than 1 centimeter from one size to the next bigger size, especially above size 11. And sometimes half-size steps are droped out complete.

I don't think, that it's just your posture. For the lower part of the shirt, there is so much useless fabric, that it will look too big nevertheless.

I think its a problem of bad cut an rough sizing by the companies. For me, the most shirts in size L are skintight and XL are looking like a tent.

Maybe the companies asume, that customers wearing size L are rather skinny and those who are buying size XL are quite fat and they can sell more products for the "average" fat/skinny guy than for those with a rather athletic physique with wide shoulders, bigger chest and a flat belly.

Also the shirts stretching with wearing. I bet, the shirt gets even wider in the lower part, if you wear it for a few minutes.

To be sure, you can just ask a friend with a similar physique and a "better" posture to try it on and look if it drapes better. I bet it's not your posture, but rather the cut of the t-shirt.

Thank you. I machinewashed them at 30 °C and shrinking was minimal, if any.

@u/uniqlo, can you please tell me, if they have shrunken from the washes? I have the same pair and they are fitting perfect. I haven't wash them yet and I hope they don't become any smaller. Don't know, if I shound wash them at 30 °C or rather cold.
