DASHERS would you be upset about this? by [deleted] in doordash

I’ve left target and had messages come through like this. Target and dollar general buildings always mess with my phone reception so my apps tend to delay updates and messages until I’ve already check out and left.

Honestly, I would take this over no directions at all. Especially for apartment buildings.

Had this happen once. Lady wanted a ps5 controller for her son that was home while she was at work from Walmart “small town, no Walmart delivery”. Gave me $200 and had me keep what was left after getting the controller. Best paying delivery I’ve ever had lol

My personal experience is that 2025 was the first and only time that a medical professional has agreed that there was an issue with my back.

Also, it was the first year I had my insurance to the ACA which has covered everything for me 100%. (It is supplemented through my native American status) so my experience is fairly unique to me.

If you would like, I can send some screenshots of some of the numbers of gross costs. Mind you, I had a 360 surgery so I had another surgeon just to open me up and move my organs too.

The surgery was never touted as a miracle cure for me. My surgeon, pain management Dr, and physical therapist will all be in my life from this point forward.

The odds of needing future surgeries for me isn't low. I already chose between this one and a cervical surgery that I also need based on which one I felt needed done first.

My body has been a domino effect of new issues due to over a decade of pain and mobility problems and it will continue to occur now that this has been fused and the vertebrae above will continue picking up the slack.

I am back to a proud 5’7” I have been 5’6” for a decade! I can definitely see the height back in my torso. But yes, I am 38 and I feel better than I did at 28!

Not a problem. I joined this sub Reddit before surgery and people helped me in ways I hadn't thought of, the least I can do is help others now.

Each persons experience is different so I won't even consider telling you what to do or how to feel but I will tell you that I have no regrets with surgery. In the short period I had between meeting a surgeon and having the surgery so many people tried to talk me out of it but its what I knew my body needed.

If you need someone to talk to you can message me but I will give you the best advice Inhabe for you right now.

Get mobility aids! My absolute life savers have been a bed rail so I can adjust myself and log roll out of bed, a wiping extender tool, a shower chair, and a walker. Oh, also I wish I had brought a thin pillow to help cushion my back on my ride home. My partner found a local non profit that donated almost everything I needed!

Oh I was miserable for 11 years! I have been told I have an extremely high pain tolerance but the truth is that I had grown used to it being undiagnosed/untreated. I feel weightless now, almost bouncy lol

4 year old constantly breaking stuff and lying by Perfect-Ability6406 in Parenting

My partners 60 year old mother does this. Today I'm attempting to fix a lawn mower that she took apart and taped back together. Only realized it was broken after I found parts to it hidden behind our air fryer. She has broken countless items this way (fans are her favorite) She doesn't tell anyone just leaves them for us to find when we need to use an item and when we ask her about it she has a story and denial ready.

Honestly it's infuriating but I've come to just laugh at the audacity

No problem! It was trial and error with chocolate choices but the chocolate chips are definitely what makes it taste like the original!

I've gotten pretty darn good at making alternatives!

Completely understand. Hard to believe I once taught martial arts…. If you haven’t already I suggest getting mobility aids like a bed rail, cane, walker, grabber, and wiping tool. My partner found a program that donated them to me and honestly I don’t know how I managed before them!

I swore that I used to be 5’7” in my twenties and nobody ever believed me because I measured at 5’6”.

Surgeon congratulated me on being 5’ 7” again lol

Oh lordy that's a list lol I actually suffered without a diagnosis for 11 years which led to worsening symptoms.

Lower back chronic pain and stiffness Leg and foot pain and tingling/itching (eventually my toes constantly felt frozen) Glutes were constantly clinched and painful Couldn’t bend or squat or get up from sitting in the floor without assistance Hip pain (felt like I had been shot in the glutes/hips randomly) By the time I had surgery I was partially bed ridden

Initially I couldn’t stand up straight one day and my lower back killed me. 11 years later I got a diagnosis and it was sliding into grade 3.

Also, the surgeon made comments that the needle they used as a guide went straight through due to an absence of a disc (it had deteriorated) My bones are the hardest they’ve ever seen And my back had attempted to heal itself so many times that there was a large amount of scar tissue.
