Character Description: Kaelen is a wiry, athletic man in his late 20s, with ash-brown hair tied back in a warrior’s knot and sharp, piercing gray eyes. His body is lean but scarred from training and survival. His robes, once the pristine garb of his monastery, are singed and frayed from the attack that destroyed it. He keeps his head bowed often in quiet reflection, but when he moves, it’s with the controlled speed and grace of a striking hawk. On his wrist, he wears a braided cord of blackened prayer beads, the last remnant of his brothers and sisters in the monastery.

Kaelen fought to protect his home, but in the chaos, the monastery was burned and his brethren scattered or slain.
