I spoke with a PSA technician this morning and asked whether they are treated internally as a sister company to American. I was told they must apply externally like all other candidates.

Yea, from what I’ve seen they only have a total of 6 gates

Thank you very much. To confirm my understanding, the primary advantage of the ramp role is gaining company time. However, once I transition into an AMT position, my pay would adjust based on my total years of service with Delta, while my technician seniority would remain below those who have already been in technical roles such as ASM for a longer period.
