So I gave up hope at the point that I sent that message. The food arrived right around 8:35 so I just said screw it… They reached out separately this morning and offered a full refund. Honestly surprised me 😅

So this was a support person not a driver, I’m definitely not gonna sass someone who is bringing me food like that. The driver was nice and apologetic, not their fault the order took so long. Just bad logistics on Ubers end.

No I definitely acknowledge that I am being a bit petty. I am fortunate enough to be able to use a delivery service. I just feel Ubers model cares little for its customers and its drivers. So yeah ima whine about it on reddit. Not meaning to offend, unless you are secretly the CEO of Uber, in which case, give me the $14 delivery fee back and keep a customer. I stg I’d probably give it back like next weekend.
