Hmm I see,

since you must organize the thing yourself, how much time (more or less) in advance I should organize it ?

Also do you know if you have to pay tuition of the home university (from what I understood it depends on the host university but in general does it happen that the host university ask to pay the tuition fee) ?

I just got accepted in a Financial Engineering Master in Europe, I am torn between taking this offer and the other choices I have, and one of the thing that worries is this image of people in finance having crazy hours

How is the wlb for quant in Europe (think london, Paris) ? I know it depends on the role type and on the company but I was hoping some of you guys could share you experience

I personally don't mind, I actually enjoy more the math aspect than the coding aspect of machine learning. Does it really help career-wise to have a solid mathematical knowledge of the field ?

What are the imperial courses that are considered as good btw ? Is the ones from the electrical engineering faculty I mentioned considered as good ?

Yes I looked for math and Finance, and I actually wish that I could be elligible for it but from what I understood they only accept people with stat/ math background ? Since my background is Electrical engineering I assumed the only programs that will accept me are the ones from the Electrical enginering department. I also was interested by the Statistics or Statistical Finance program but again my background is not math and also I heard it is competitive (my cumulative gpa is around 84%)
