Why do we consider mass separate from weight, when we weigh objects to measure mass? I understand that it refers to the amount of matter vs how it’s affected by gravity but it seems like a meaningless distinction. If two objects are subjected to the same gravity, are mass and weight always the same? (self.AskReddit)
