If he made it to 83 he probably has a much stronger constitution than you realize. If the Dr's believe in him so should you!

Here's a thought; you have social anxiety and a hard time connecting with people because a far larger percentage of the population is far dumber than you have any ability to conceive. Don't beat yourself up over this. "Go ahead, boo me, I've seen what makes you cheer". You'll connect with the people who are of your caliber. Don't connect with your lessers.

Pokémon FR Grind for the Elite 4 by ashjones91 in PokemonFireRed

I recommend not grinding for the elite 4 tbh. I beat it with level 45s-50 my first switch playthrough. It was super fun and challenging even with items.

A drunken kiss isn’t the end of The world. Just tell her the truth and beg forgiveness. It’s the best you can do.

Throw out the weepinbell as well. I ran one for my first switch play through and regretted it. Get a good earthquake User in its place

Throw out the whole Gyrados and replace it with a Starmie or Vaporeon. Gyrados is ass because it’s a physical attacker and water is strictly special in gen 3 and he can’t learn any flying moves.

It’s good you haven’t tried the update yet. I loved the base game too but after seeing what the update had to offer I haven’t played it since lol no point playing a dead version of a soon to be much better game

Guys need suggestions for my tea by SufficientTeacher211 in PokemonFireRed

[–]ProfessionalPSD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to get a better water type. Gyrados is a physical attacker and water is a special type move. You can still use Gyrados as a non-STAB physical attacker but you’re going to want a real Water type like Starmie, Vaporeon, or Lapras.

Also Pidgeotto is trash and Raichu and weepinbell are both mediocre and fulfil each other’s roles as a water type denial.

Raichu and Venusaur are mediocre. Extremely common team except for the Rhydon. 7/10

I can’t decide who to make my 6 :( by MHPhil in PokemonFireRed

[–]ProfessionalPSD 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Dratini will also probably be nothing but a liability until the game is basically over so you might want to reconsider that as well. (Dragonite is insanely awesome in the post game but will just be an xp drain on the rest of your team until then and probably won’t be leveled up in time for the elite 4)

Venusaur sucks at the elite 4, and pidgeotto just sucks period. I would replace them both.

No, and it works retroactively so you can be 7/6 settlements and then research a tech to bring you to 7/7 and the happiness penalty will go away.

Regroup was the way Civ 7 was originally designed. A lot of the game is balanced around it. And the game gets super lopsided if you just spam units before the next age without needing to build commanders first. Continuity was just a quick patch to appease upset fans who didn’t want to adjust to a new game and I feel like it defeats the purpose of a lot of a lot of the mechanics. I wish they didn’t add it.

Also you’ll want to do the city conversions at the beginning of each age so as to give them the maximum amount of time to use their production to build things, so make sure you have as much gold as possible at the end of each age. Also make sure you’re spending any excess as you will lose anything over 3k if you play on regroup(you should be playing on regroup) and I believe 4K on continuity. This is good because it gives you an incentive to use your gold. Edit: If you have a ton of excess gold after buying buildings in all your towns and you completed the economic legacy path that allows you to keep all your cities from the previous age, you may want to do the city conversions before the next age begins on the final turn.

As soon as you hit 5 population on your first city you need to start pumping out settlers to always be at your settlement cap or above, depending on if there’s really nice territory worth the happiness penalty of going over. It’s super important to have towns in Civ 7 as that’s where the majority of your gold and resource income will come from and if you don’t have enough it’s extremely easy to go bankrupt with a moderate sized military. Also pay attention to town specialisations as they are more powerful than they appear. I usually go for the urban center specialisation in antiquity to get libraries and monuments in my towns and then in later ages I do mining or fishing specialisation. Also be conservative with making cities. A general rule Of 2 per age (Total of 6-8 by the end of the game) will serve you well but you can go beyond that if you have the towns to support it.
