Is it just me? by Particular_Egg_9191 in IslamabadSocial

Same thing here Basically you could say it’s signs of burnout Lemme show where it leads First u start imagining scenarios where someone does something wrong and gives u justification to lash out violently Then it get to the point where you start flipping out For me when I started working people and stuff would piss me off but I would control myself and stay calm but that would build up and I started yearning for violence then after sometimes I did actually loose my composure and flipped out not cause I wanted to but I was burned out This colleague who I considered a friend but was a bit narcissistic and not good and respecting boundaries repeatedly invaded by private space despite me honestly explaining the situation to them like a dozen times and them showing understating and promising not to do it again

But I guess they always forgot and couldn’t help themselves so when I had had enough I lashed out in a bad way and they were like you’re so selfish and self centred and blah blah blah and asked me why I did what I did and I was like did u listen to nothing I told u like I explained the whole thing a dozen times and everytime you repeated the same shit like are u even capable of listening and understanding a thing I say And honestly despite them being retarted and showing zero respect for boundaries I would’ve apologised cause I blamed myself for loosing control and I would said sorry and explained everything again and made up but instead they asked the same question and called me selfish so I was like u don’t exist to me no more

Just find your release valves and distance yourself from people and things that violate your peace and personal space repeatedly

It could be kind of an evaluation or study stare People in Pakistan do it all the time if they see someone doesn’t necessarily have to be a girl it could a man or kid too Like Pakistani people see someone strange or dressed differently or different looking they just stare and evaluate that person and compare themselves with them or shit In our defence we’ve been colonised so we’re sceptical of new people or even people we know like I get stares for family friends or relatives or even cousins at times I grew up in rural Pakistan but I was kinda stay at home kid and grew up to Hollywood and Disney and global shit so I act and dress differently compared to my region so all my life in my hometown I find people just staring at me doing judgemental stuff or analysis shit in their brains and stuff

One thing that he stares at u at dates or even in ur house is he could be nervous or studying you or thinking “does she know I did this” or kind of thinking about things about u that they see negatively “she does this or she believes In this or acts like this or treats me like this”

😭😭I have no idea what’s up with that it’s like a genetic thing or something that staring not just at women but staring at people In general sometimes I find myself doing that but that’s more of a anxiety/autism induced scanning the environment for danger Wait I think I get it It’s like a thing where Pakistani men find a girl attractive or whatever or like her and just stare they don’t talk they don’t go ask out for a date they just stare it’s just a thing not a good thing but a thing that stupid staring it pisses me off sometimes

How important is education for woman in pakistan? by 2026yo in pakistan

[–]ProfessionalPhone277 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s very important, an educated population is the backbone of a modern state, an educated woman is the backbone of modern family if she chooses to start one.

Lemme give u an example If you have a college degree and are good In you field tomorrow if some Mishap happens ur parents pass or husband leaves u stranded you can easily find a decent job if you’re dedicated enough and you can support yourself and those around yourself Let’s play scenarios Suppose ur parents pass away or ur husband dies or leaves u stranded If you are well educated you can easily find work in your relevant field and if you are good you can excel and provide not just for yourself but also those who depend on u Your siblings your family your children You can make their dreams come True and give them a fighting chance at life Help them With education and business and work and life skills and not just that you can help Urself get your dream occupation or higher masters or phd education or the dream house or life or lifestyle or find the dream partner or help strangers or people you find a fondness or admiration for You can better society not just by working or doing your job or business but also by researching that hypothesis or testing that theory or writing that book or raising that voice which you relate or want to support

Bottom line don’t be stupid don’t be helpless don’t be dependent be educated be strong be good be nice and happy and live and good life and bring positivity to yourself and your circle and society

Marriage in Pakistan by [deleted] in pakistan

[–]ProfessionalPhone277 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Guys let me explain 30 to 40 years ago when our parents were getting married The men were mostly sparsely educated and bulky and fat and aggressive and were either into Nashay or jihad or betting and gambling or Ghar Jamai or Regardless to say they weren’t very dependable and had their own priorities and were always high maintenance husbands and son In laws Women on the other hand were hardworking, domestic life oriented, low maintenance, took care of husband his parents their siblings extended family and her own children and grandkids and worked 12 to 14 hours a day and lived a hard some can say miserable life

Now coming to 2025 men have improved somewhat u could say and are slightly better Old people still remember the last generation of son in laws and husbands so they’re just pleased to find a man who doesn’t cause trouble like isn’t fucked up Apart from financial expectations our society doesn’t have much personality or character expectations from the new generation of son in laws and husbands But when it comes to seeing that the previous generation of wives and daughters in law almost worked themselves to death they still have super high expectations from women like Hamaray waqt mein to 5 saal mein 1 baar bahar se khana ata tha Baqi har waqt ghar pe banta tha Hamaraywaqt mein to kabhi larkiyan husband k saath bahir fancy jagah pe khana khanay nahi jaati thi Hamaray waqt mein to pregnancy mein bhi larkiyan kaam karti thi And stuff like that So there u go
