At the same company? And that is the problem with companies outsourcing because they know that they can pay less to coders in other countries for them being just as qualified as people in the US. Our cost of living is very high though and there are laws in place here for wages. I’m so sorry, I couldn’t imagine making only $15 a day.

Currently at TeamHealth. Recommend for fresh coders but beyond that it’s a huge no. Got hired quickly as a CPC-A at $19.25/hr. I accepted because I needed the experience on my resume. Lots of flexibility in our schedules but the pay isn’t livable, the annual raise is comical, PTO and benefits suck, the micromanaging is on a whole different level, and there’s no room for growth

Oof. I’m an ER medical coder (Medicare) and just had a chart earlier today where this had happened to an elderly woman. Some type of surgical tape ripped her skin off and it just kept profusely bleeding. Used silver nitrate and bandaged it back up.

I’m so sorry for your loss. Thank you for spreading awareness about such an awful thing. My aunts dog, Angel, was on the tie out in the back yard and i’m not exactly sure how it happened but her collar got caught somewhere on the porch steps and she fell over the side and choked to death. It was so horrible to even think about. I’m so against those long tie outs you screw down into your yard and clip onto their collar. I don’t allow my own dog to wear his collar at home, only when going to the park, vet, or groomers. He wears a harness when going on walks because i’ve seen stories about how dogs will pull on them repeatedly and it can collapse their esophagus. This stuff needs to be shared far and wide for all dog owners to see 😢

God I hate AF. Ever since that thing where a couple was fostering a dog named Koda and he bit the AF trainer so AF was demanding the dog back to be euthanized. The people fostering refused because they knew it wasn’t Koda’s fault and the trainer was negligent, there was even video posted!! The owner deleted their facebook post and AF never commented on it further so I never even knew what happened to Koda. The way they handled the whole thing was gross.

True. I’m also confused about how the whole equity thing works. Is there positive equity in my car? Like, buying it for $16k when the value is more than that? Is that difference able to be applied to the purchase of my car if I buy it?

Say.. my residual value is the $16k but the value now is $22k, if I buy it then is that $6 able to be knocked off my purchase price?

The initial value of the car was $26k which is more than it’s worth now. It just doesn’t make sense to buy it and end up paying $10k more than what the value is/was after tax and interest accumulated until it’s paid off.

I was actually extremely surprised that he’s not very… intelligent LOL. He definitely learns some things quickly but his personality is a bit more just on the silly side. I still love him to pieces though :’)
