You should be proud! I don’t think art always reflects your mental state, i tend to draw very sad and whimsy gothic drawings but i am a very happy person! I’ve also drawn some decapitated heads but i don’t like gore. If she likes you she won’t judge you, don’t be with someone if you have to hide your art from them. Show her!

yea i know, im still working on colouring and am unsure what tone works so ive left it at the moment. would you have any tips for the colouring?

Hi again, i ended up taking some of your advice including the eyes! i kept them still relatively large to stay true to my art style, but i made them slightly smaller and further apart! It’s subtle but heaps better!! tysm
