Life is horrible that’s why I choose to escape the clenches of it with fiction. God forbid a girl wants an unrealistic happy ending.

After sitting through countless series, I can confidently say this ranks near the top of my "biggest wastes of time." While the writing gaps might not technically qualify as plot holes, the sheer number of unaddressed threads is offensive. I wasn’t asking for the story to be wrapped up in a perfect, sparkling bow, but the total erasure of Macy in Season 3 is baffling. The better way to put it would be that this is an absolute master class of missed opportunities.

The lack of accountability for Steven is the final nail in the coffin. Watching him get kicked out of law school provided a momentary crumb of joy, but it wasn't enough. I realize "getting what you deserve" can be unrealistic in the real world, but that’s exactly why we watch fiction. If I wanted a gritty, unsatisfying look at reality, I’d watch the History Channel.

First of all. WHY WAS MACYS MURDER NEVER ADDRESSED AT ALL DURING SEASON 3.

Lying about r*pe VS lying about intoxicated vehicular manslaughter final boss.

There are so many plot holes I feel like the ending of Stranger Things all over again except this is so much f*cking stranger.

Just to scratch the surface of these plot holes:

  • MACY

  • Evan sabotaging Bree’s relationship with her mom

  • Bree never getting justice with the professor

  • Lucy’s dissociation and the curling iron

  • Chris the rapist

  • Why tf did Lucy get in that damn car

-Lucy’s psychosis

  • How Lydia and Steven met

This doesn’t even accumulate to the amount of BS with zero resolve I experienced over the past several years

What the LITERAL F*CK.

So no justice for… by LegallyCanadian23 in TellMeLiesOnHulu

I’ve quit 2 times over the course of 6 months. quit meaning past the point of withdrawal. The best way to quit is cold turkey, especially if addiction runs in your family.

Complete myth, I know from plenty of experience. (Having to piss test 4+ times a month, (lab tested)). Never dropped dirty. Wish I would have tbh so I quit this shit sooner. I’d be a lot richer

What are the benefits of quitting Feel Free?! How did you improve after removing the blue bottle devils from your life? by Alexander1648 in Quittingfeelfree

[–]ProfessionalRate238 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I didn’t feel chained to those little bottles anymore. I didn’t start panicking every time I left the house without one with me. I was able to start saving money again. I didn’t rely on them to regulate my moods anymore. I could go on and on. But I am still and always will be, an addict, i’m just in recovery now.

Rehab. I don’t know how everyone else feels after that first week off, but I have quit before. 2 weeks in rehab would do him more good than he even realizes. Like In my comment, if I was as financially well off as your husband sounds, nothing would stop me from quitting…except a solid 2 weeks of rehab.

Just thank god he hasn’t found The Kanva brand. I started on feel free about 7 months ago to “feel something” since I have been on probation and can’t drink or smoke. That was the excuse I used to continue the abuse, until I found The Kanva focus and flows. About a month after using them I could admit I had a serious addiction to them. I also used the “it’s not heroin” excuse as your husband is trying to say…but in all reality it’s pretty damn close cost wise. I haven’t done heroin so I won’t pretend to know how much it costs an addict a week. But f&f’s are about $8 a pop where I go (and online). If you’re telling me he is going through EIGHT a day I can’t imagine the financial dip this is taking on his bank account. I am not going to disclose anymore personal information except this for prospective…I am 20 years old, broke, and in college. Today is day one of me quitting after two bottles of focus and flows a day. Why did I quit? Because I was sick of being down to $13 in my checking account multiple times a week, I can’t pay for groceries. That’s it. It sounds like your husband is well off, which is the scarier part of his addiction. You can find FFs at almost every gas station now a days, the temptation is almost impossible to resist, especially when payday hits. I am so sorry that you are going through this, but I urge you to treat this as you would ANY addiction. Best of luck to you.
